Roller Chain Sprockets – Plain & Finished Bore and Single & Double Pitch

Roller chain sprockets are important components and accessories in the whole conveyor belt system. They are used combined with roller chains as drive system to ensure the stable and smooth conveying and transmitting. The sprockets are designed to match the roller chains as drive system for stable and smooth conveying and transmitting. The roller chain sprockets can be made of carbon steel, stainless steel and other materials in different diameters, bore size, teeth quantity and styles. Roller chain sprocket types

The roller chain sprockets can be divided into three styles with different outer diameters and technique data.

The type A roller chain sprocket has the simplest structure, which is plain and without any extensions on both side. It offers a stable and secure attachment to the shaft. The type B and type C roller chain sprockets have one hub extensions on one or both side to provide stability, and allow for the use of full-depth keyways and standard setscrews to attach the sprocket. They can also accommodate a wide range of shafts.

  • Type A. Plain and without any extensions on both side.
  • Type B. One hub extension on one side.
  • Type C. One hub extension on each side.

Sprockets for double plus chain

Sprockets for double plus chain is similar to the multiple strand ANSI single pitch sprockets on the appearance. But they are different in pitch size, teeth size and teeth type. The multiple strand ANSI single pitch sprockets has sharp teeth while the sprockets for double plus chain has a relatively flat teeth.
